Native Sons Pro Fishing Team is one of the most successful and active competitors on the redfish and flats fishing circuits in the southeastern United States. Currently fishing in the IFA Redfish Tour (Eastern Florida and Western Florida divisions), the Florida Flatsfishing Association Circuit and the Extreme Redfish Tour, the team is in competition in some event almost every weekend during the long tournament season. Well known for professionalism, the team also has many, many top finishes on its resume from national, regional and local tournaments.

The Pro Fishing Team is anchored by veteran Rocky Van Hoose, with over thirty years of tournament experience, and one of the youngest full-time members of the redfish tours, Peter Deeks, Jr. In addition to these two, Capt. Don Patterson, Capt. Roland Jones and his daughter Jessica have joined the team in various venues for the 2009 season.

Despite the success of the past seasons, the outlook for 2009 is even brighter with a potential of 27 tournaments on the schedule. We are especially looking forward to this season as we introduce a number of elite additions to the arsenal including a repowering of the tournament boat with a 2008 Yamaha 115 hsp outboard, new pro series PowerPole, wireless Motor Guide trolling motor, custom live and release well aeration systems from Keep Alive Aerations, SeaDek from Castaway Customs and custom wrap by A&B Graphics. We highly recommend these fine organizations and their products. We are using them not for financial considerations but because they help us achieve excellence.

In addition to the rigorous tour schedule, the team hopes to continue to expand their national presence through their two award winning websites (top rankings in Google, MSN and Yahoo search engines), blossoming writing endeavors (already includes three nationally published articles), frequent TV exposure, popular contributor a local fishing radio program, co-sponsoring and participating in local charity fishing events and, most importantly, actively promoting the sales, products and prestige of their sponsors.
